Time is the unfolding of truth that already is,
the unveiling of beauty that is yet to be.
The present is very precious; these are the days of salvation; now is the acceptable time.
It is not that we have so little time, but that we have wasted so much of it.
Every instant of our lives is essentially irreplaceable: you must know this in order to concentrate on life.
Fads, Trends, and Principles
When looking at the world, you can divide much of it into Fads, Trends or Principles. A little mantra for this is that we should Play with Fads, Work with Trends, and Live by Principles… in modern times, we are too often Seduced by Fads, Ignorant of Trends, and Resistant to Principles.
The first person asks, “What time is it?”
The second person looks at watch and replies, “Now.”
First person ponders for a moment and then says, “That’s a pretty boring answer.”
Second person retorts, “Is not. It’s the least boring answer imaginable.”
Just a Minute
I have only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can’t refuse it.
Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it.
But it’s up to me to use it.
I must suffer if I lose it.
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute,
but eternity is in it.
The lifetime assigned to us is the short moment in which what is meant to be comes to be.
I wanna tell you something…, something you do not yet know…. The universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again. It will repeat this process forever. What you don’t you know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, and again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around, because this time is all you have.
